Special Education at T'siya Day School

T’Siya Day School students receive a quality holistic education tailored to their individual, cultural, and academic needs. Our Special Education program provides support for our students with diverse learning abilities. With a student-centered approach, our team of experienced educators uses state-of-the-art technologies and proven teaching strategies.

Every student is unique, so we tailor our Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure every student thrives and progresses with focused attention. IEP plans are created by collaborating with dedicated parents, teachers, and specialists. We support the many learning challenges, physical limitations, and social-emotional disorders that students may face as they advance.

T’Siya Day School’s Special Education program offers a wide range of support services, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, and a robust Native curriculum. We use student-focused teaching strategies, comprehensive learning accommodations, and data-driven evaluations to meet every student’s needs.
